Eradicating Gangsterism And Stopping The Killings In REMO.

There is no point in being politically correct here or sugar-coating the situation. Our communities across REMO, Sagamu in particular are in need of urgent help.
I have been opportune to visit, work or live in a lot of towns, cities and countries across the globe and sadly I haven’t seen or experienced anything worse than what’s going on in my hometown and region.
How can we be so comfortable with killing each other and raise no eyebrow when a man or multiple men are killed for the fun of it?
Well - there is no point in addressing what you already know. Let’s focus on the solution to this menace to society.
These are what the community must do to clean up the mess and engage a new path.
Number One - you can’t solve any problem without admitting that it is a problem. Both the community leaders and the general people must come into an agreement and admission that they have a huge and collective problem at hand. With that established - next!
Number Two - Peace talk is a No No! There is no serious community that would be treating killings with a peace talk. It’s not rocket science that if you kill my brother, I am coming after your entire family at some point no matter how long it is. This is how we humans are designed and there is no other way around it.
By nature, we are vindictive and revenge is always unavoidable with fraternity matters. Embracing peace talks in the midst of war has never worked anywhere on this planet, you are only postponing the inevitable. Unfortunately, even more calamity than the initial war.
Number Three - Declare a supreme war on the war against humanity. Weapons, hard drugs, illegitimate associations, fighting, and killings must be declared as illegal in the community and consequences placed against each of these. Not sure why we have to wait this long to be honest.
Number Four - No exceptions, for any law to be active then it must be applicable across board. We can’t afford to make one law for the elites and one for the poor. Whoever is guilty must face the music publicly.
Number Five - Role modeling approach. Successful people who are from the community must be approached to come back into the community and integrate, mingle and mentor the younger generation towards a better path. Majority of the young ones only have killers, crack heads and people of questionable character as role models in the community - in the process, we are grooming a new generation of cold-hearted killers.
Number Six - Education - The community leaders in conjunction with the government must come up with policies and plans on getting everyone back to school, not necessarily the conventional schools but vocational schools are equally a good option if not a better idea. Get these young ones busy and give them hope that they can be somebody. Some just need an opportunity, don’t deny them.
Number Seven - Drugs and alcohol control - The community must have a plan in place in controlling the influx of drugs into the society and liaise with bars on the importance of not selling alcohol to the underaged. These kids are under the influence of drugs and alcohol which is turning them into zombies overnight.
Number Eight - Gun control - if you are not in the military or without the license to carry a gun then make it illegal to own one and of course pitch a consequence by it - the current law is a joke!
Number Nine - Lastly but not least. Capital punishment must be reintroduced. It takes a mad man to tame another mad fellow.
In the 80’s as a kid, they used to kill armed robbers by firing squad at Methodist, the effect of that is we had no armed robbers in the community. The younger generation knew that if you steal or deal in drugs, there is no other way out than to be publicly executed. Our parents used to warn us when we act wayward that “Methodist is for criminals, if you are not careful that’s where you will end up”! It worked like a charm.
I think it’s about time to bring back capital punishment and make it known publicly what the consequence of each and every vice and action is - if you are bold enough.
If we have to sacrifice 100 people so that millions of people can be saved, live in peace and happiness then I think it’s a fair deal. People are already dying anyway. It’s a win-win situation as I see it. F..K human rights!
I am afraid to say that the killings won’t stop anytime soon if all the above are not considered and implemented.
Oh and if I am found to be a menace in the society please apply the law to me too and end it.
People are dying and the leaders are quiet, I do not understand this. They must have genuine reasons for this.
God won’t come down to do this, we the people must be responsible and act responsibly.
End the killings NOW except of course if you are comfortable with it, if that’s it - then be on standby as it’s a Russian Roulette game! It’s turn by turn! Kaboom!
